Since his web debut, Odd Todd, ex‐dotcom slacker Todd Rosenberg of Brooklyn, New York, has grown a following around the Odd Todd shorts, which Rosenberg creates, writes, draws, animates, and narrates himself. The perpetually unemployed, ex‐dotcom slacker Todd Rosenberg has built a growing franchise and slightly fanatical fan base since his first downloadable short, “Laid Off: A Day in the Life” debuted in 2002 on his website, oddtodd.com. The Odd Todd character with an attitude personifies the frustration and boredom of many younger and middle‐aged Americans in a changing society impacted by layoffs, war, and philosophical malaise.
